Whorls
21 x 30 cm (unframed)
Grass weave on paper
A whorl is a pattern of spirals or concentric circles, and a small wheel or pulley in a spinning wheel, spinning machine, or spindle.
In Celtic Paganism the spiral represented a variety of triplicities in cosmology and theology. Often you’ll find these spirals carved on stone.
